De’Aaron Fox made history in 2024 with his debut signature sneaker, the Under Armour Curry Fox 1, being the first model from Steph Curry’s Curry Brand not to be from the label’s founder. So far, we’ve seen the sneaker launch in its original colorway, Happy Fox Day, and have just received official looks at the second rendition, the Happy Fox Day Alt. Now, the pair that Fox and Under Armour initially shared when unveiling the silhouette, The Beam, has received official images.
The running-inspired design remains on Fox’s debut sneaker, with the color palette sticking to a mixture of purple and green throughout. Light purple hues hit the suede reinforcements around the mudguard, midfoot, and heel paneling, while the mesh base takes on a vibrant, deep purple shade. More light purple suede lines the eyestays, vamp, and takes over the fox tail-inspired forefoot strap, the latter hosting a contrasting metallic silver hit on the end of the strap.
Moving up on the model, we see the tongue tag feature De’Aaron Fox’s fox-inspired logo in purple, surrounded by a volt green-shaded faux fur inspired by the fur of a fox. Inside, the insole also features the same purple-shaded fox logo for De’Aaron, while his signature is embedded into the purple TPU heel counter on the medial side. Underfoot sits a two-tone purple and volt green UA Flow midsole and outsole, the latter sticking to a single shade of volt green.
The Under Armour Curry Fox 1 The Beam will release on December 27, 2024, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $125 and $100, respectively.
