Sneakerheads and fashion in general have largely moved on from the hyperfixation on foam-based slip-ons that was present in the early part of the decade. A defining model of this era is Salehe Bembury’s Crocs Pollex Clog, which was so successful that Crocs expanded on his creative vision by appointing him as the director of the Pollex Pod Collection. Since then, Bembury has released a handful of different silhouettes, one of the most recent being the duckboot-esque Cypress. Over eight months removed from the last release, the model is back, this time in Tetra.
The foam and canvas-based silhouette is done here in a tri-tone combo of blue, mauve, and gum, the latter used for the Pollex sole unit. Bembury’s signature fingerprint design is applied to the traction and midsole of the sneaker, while an enclosed Croslite foam is placed just above in a mauve hue. Moving up from there, a tall Chuck Taylor-esque canvas collar is rendered in blue, while contrasting light purple tones take over the co-branded Crocs and Salehe Bembury tag and the lace set.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Sypress Boot Tetra will release August 14, 2025, through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
