Founded in 2020 by designer Jiro Maetsu, Little Tokyo Table Tennis (often abbreviated to LTTT) is a community ping pong club based in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo neighborhood. Outside of hosting sessions every Tuesday from 6-9 PM at the Terasaki Budokan gym, LTTT also drops merch on its website and in-store at its retail storefront in Little Tokyo. Maetsu and LTTT are now set to serve a footwear and apparel collaboration with Asics.
This Asics project marks LTTT’s first foray into the footwear world, with the brand tackling the Gel-Nimbus 10.1, a hybrid silhouette taking the upper of the Gel-Nimbus 10 and the tooling inspired by the Gel-Kayano 14. We’ve seen the sneaker appear in multiple GR colorways, but it also hosts a series of collaborations with Kith and even NFL superstar Stefon Diggs.

As for LTTT’s take on the Gel-Nimbus 10.1, we see the silhouette coated in a muted yellow across its mesh and synthetic paneling while black and white accents pop along the tongue. Here, we see black netting atop the mesh tongue and updated branding featuring LTTT’s logo. Final details include the white lace set, blue accents on the nylon lace loops, Asics logos on the upper, and a tonal yellow midsole and outsole.
The Little Tokyo Table Tennis x Asics Gel-Nimbus 10.1 and the accompanying apparel collection will release on June 7, 2025, through LTTT’s website and in-store at the brand’s location in Little Tokyo. As of now, there’s no word on a wider global drop.
