Over Aime Leon Dore’s history, we’ve seen the brand team up with luxury automaker Porsche for bespoke projects. Now, onto their fifth classic model restoration, ALD has given the Porsche 993 a Mulberry Green makeover for its exterior and a custom interior made from dark brown leather and lambswool. The project isn’t limited to the car, as campaign images tease a New Balance 993 Made in USA collab.
It’s pretty fitting that ALD has chosen to work with New Balance on the 993, a model they have previously delivered in multiple colorways, including Taupe and Beef & Broccoli, as the connection here is the 993 model from Porsche. The brand translates its bespoke edition of the car onto the premium pigskin suede, mesh, and leather upper of the 993 Made in USA, applying Mulberry Green hues across most of the sneaker. Tonal cream hits land on the edge of the emerald green N logo, the lace set, and the New Balance branding on the tongue tag.
