Album rollouts in the rap game have been lacking in the last few years, but brothers Pusha T and No Malice, under their group Clipse, are bringing back the lost energy. The two singles, Ace Trumpets and So Be It, both produced by Pharrell Williams, have been received well by critics and fans alike. The latter of the two even drummed up some rap beef between former GOOD Music alumni Pusha T and Travis Scott.
Outside of music, Push has long been associated with adidas, thanks to his close relationship with Pharrell and, of course, Ye (though the latter is no longer there). The Pusha x adidas partnership seems to be back on as he’s taken to Instagram to reveal a Clipse-branded adidas Samba LT.
For those unaware, Pusha T has dropped multiple sneaker collabs with adidas in the past, dating all the way back to 2014. These include colorways of the EQT Guidance 93, adida Ozweego, and even a project with Damian Lillard on the adidas Dame 6. His rap subject matter, although not necessarily brand-friendly, has played a pivotal role in the design motifs and color palettes of these releases, and this is once again the case with Clipses’ Samba LT.
