Steph Curry and Under Armour must be excited with the reception of De’Aaron Fox’s first signature sneaker with Curry Brand, the Under Armour Curry Fox 1, as the debut Happy Fox Day colorway ended up selling out on the label’s site. Quickly following up on this launch are multiple colorways that Fox has previewed, including the Happy Fox Day Alt rendition.
An alternate version to the initial colorway, this pair continues the festive holiday theme with a primarily green color palette applied to the running-inspired silhouette. For its base, we see a green mesh, visible along the toe and parts of the midfoot, while suede reinforcements line the edge of the mudguard and just below the fox tail-inspired forefoot strap. Here, we see golden details on the “tails” end and the pattern stamped atop the green strap.
Another nod to the animal is found along the tongue, which features De'Aaron Fox's fox logo and the faux fur details surrounding the green patch. Back on the heel sits a TPU counter for stability, matching the sneaker's green look and contrasting the golden print on the heel tab. The UA Flow midsole finishes the look, which comes in a two-tone light green and dark green finish, and the UA Flow outsole.
The Under Armour Curry Fox 1 Happy Fox Day Alt will release on December 20, 2024, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $120 for men and $100 for GS.
