In the modern era of sneaker collaborations, few brands have kept a consistent color story quite like Hidden NY. The social media curator turned full-fledged collaborator has kept things consistent across its first four Asics collabs, combining different mixes of green and white on each shoe. Now, for its fifth collab colorway, Hidden is back with a second Gel-DS Trainer 14, but this time around, in a completely flipped black and blue colorway.
The Hidden NY x Asics Gel-DS Trainer 14 Dusk is the follow-up to the Dawn colorway of the same silhouette that took the brand’s classic green and white route. Finishing the day after the dewy dawn, the Dusk colorway brings black mesh paneling to the toebox and heel, plus blue honeycomb print on the side panels, with a silver Asics logo streaking across the middle.
Bringing more sunset vibes to the collab, the tongue stabilizer features moon cycle graphics, and collab branding is added with Hidden NY circle logos on the tongue tab and lateral heel. The laces are a two-tone black and white mix, and a shiny silver stabilizing pattern sits in the middle of the sole. Making Hidden NY’s first non-green colorway even more special, the Dusk colorway is packaged in a special metal lockbox with co-branded logos throughout.
