OTW by Vans has been on a tear as of late. The collaborative and lux-inspired wing of Vans has recently launched projects with the likes of Palace, FTP, and FDMTL. Now, they’re returning to their long-time partner, Comme des Garçons, to run back one of their most popular releases — the Comme des Garçons x Vans Authentic.
Initially released in 2018, CDG and Vans’ Authentic features a simple black-and-white color palette consisting of a white canvas base and black CDG lettering. The acronym for the Japanese-based fashion label is plastered across the canvas toebox, midfoot, and heel, while a 3D CDG logo is prominently displayed on the tongue. The original featured a standard Vans insole; however, this re-release replaces that with an OTW Vans logo. Finishing the design is the white vulcanized rubber midsole and a gum rubber outsole.
The Comme des Garçons x Vans Authentic will release on June 13, 2025, exclusively via CDG’s cdgcdgcdg.com webstore. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
