The FTP x OTW by Vans Collection Releases May 2025

Since Vans rebranded its Vault by Vans division to OTW by Vans, we’ve seen more collaborative efforts come from the label. Following up on its recent project with HommeGirls, OTW by Vans is partnering with streetwear label FUCKTHEPOPULATION (FTP) for a two-pack of iconic Vans silhouettes.
Taking over the Old Skool and Authentic sneakers, FPT applies a familiar makeover to the sneakers, but adds its logo throughout the uppers. For the Old Skool, we see a tonal black finish applied to the leather and suede panels, the latter making up the base of the sneaker and containing the FTP monogram print. Premium black leather panels appear on the toebox, along with an FTP-branded tongue, heel overlay, and midfoot jazz stripe.
Moving to the Authentic, Vans’ checkerboard pattern is applied to the canvas base layer, again containing FPT monogram print. Black suede on the toe features white FTP branding on the vamp, while more black and white hues are found on the tongue and lace set. Finishing the design is the FTP-branded white and black rubber midsole.
"I grew up in the Crenshaw area of Los Angeles with my mom. Anytime she was looking for school shoes that worked for me, it was always Vans. Since starting FTP back in 2010 during high school, I’ve always dreamed of doing a collaboration with them. This project really feels like a full circle moment — a dream come true. I just wish Keith Hufnagel, my mentor, was here to see it. He was one of the first people to believe in me and help open doors in the industry. I hope my journey shows that if you believe in yourself and keep going, you really can do anything,” says Zac Clark, founder of FTP.
The FTP x OTW by Vans Collection will release on May 9, 2025, through Vans online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130 for the Authentic and $145 for the Old Skool.
