Famed sneaker customizer Lorenz.OG, best known for his ability to flawlessly execute gradient color schemes, is embarking on a new project to kick-start the new year. Tackling the mesh runner craze, Lorenz.OG has purchased pairs of the New Balance’s 860v2 and customized them to feature his famous Dusk color gradient.
Sticking to the color palette that he is famous for, Lorenz.OG transfers the look of a London sunset onto the mesh base of this 860v2. The right pair begins with a deep orange-red hue at the toe, seamlessly transitioning into vibrant shades of purple and pink toward the back. For the left pair, the inverse is present, with orange colors back on the heel and a purple/pink finish on the toe.

Aside from this, the rest of the sneaker retains typical 860v2 features, like the Y2K-inspired metallic silver overlays on the toe, midfoot, and heel, and New Balance branding details on the midfoot and tongue. Down below, the 860v2 midsole remains untouched, taking on a white and grey finish, while the outsole takes on a black look.
Like previous hand-dyed custom projects released to the public, the ability to purchase Lorenz.OG’s New Balance 860v2 can be unlocked by finding golden tickets that Lorenz.OG will place around London’s Soho district. The locations will be unveiled on release day, January 18, 2025, through the customizer’s Instagram. Pricing is set at £249.99 (approximately $305).
