Kyrie Irving is a magician on the court. Watching Irving handle the ball, pass, and lay the rock through the rim in imaginative ways is almost enough to make us believe in the spiritual energy and invisible forces that Kyrie is always talking about. On his latest ANTA signature pair, Irving is celebrating his third-eye vision on and off the court with a silver Magnetic Energy colorway.
Magnets…How Do They Work?
The ANTA Kai 3 Magnetic Energy is a chromed-out colorway of the low-profile performance hoops shoe with a magnetic vibe and red accents across the tongue and heel branding. The mostly monochrome upper mixes textures, starting with smooth panels on the toebox and sides, with a rough accent striping across the lace panel, and a darker shade of metallic grey on the zig-zag support.
ANTA has made heavy inroads into the American market over the past handful of years, with the Irving signing and signature sneaker series leading the way. Now, even after ANTA lost the Steph Curry lottery, the brand opened its first stateside retail store in Beverly Hills and continues to expand its footprint into the basketball and lifestyle markets.
