Everything is bigger in Texas, even the lace charms. In a celebration of the famed Texas State Fair, Hibbett and adidas are linking up for an exclusive Dallas-themed Superstar.
The sporting goods store and adidas went all out on the Dallas Superstar, adding embossed graphic flair like a cowboy boot to the blue leather upper, a translucent sole with a picture of the state of Texas in blue with a star on the city of Dallas, a tongue graphic featuring the famous Texas State Fair Ferris wheel, and a massive belt-buckle style lace charm with a cowboy hat and “Dallas, Texas” written on it.
Hibbett has stores across huge swaths of the country, but this release will be limited to 1,320 pairs, with exclusive releases at 34 select Hibbett locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This one is a locals-only release for in-store drops, so if you didn’t make it to the top of the State Fair Ferris wheel this year, they’re probably not for you, Tex. However, there is an online release planned for 9:00 AM CDT (10:00 AM EDT) in case you can’t make it to Dallas.
