Black and red, UNC blue, Bordeaux burgundy, the list of iconic Jordan colorways goes on for miles, but when it comes to the colder months in Fall and Winter, we’re particularly partial to military-inspired olive green. Used on iconic colorways of the Jordan 9, Jordan 5, and on collab pairs like Travis Scott's Jordan 1 Low and the UNDFTD Jordan 4, the drab green is a staple in the Jumpman catalog.
The Jordan 40 Heritage brings the olive makeup to the newest numbered Jordan silhouette, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Mike’s signature line with an instantly recognizable color combo on the sleek performance hoops shoe. Mixing three shades of olive on the toe cap, toebox, and the rest of the upper, Jordan Brand mixes leather up front with canvas on the rest of the shoe for a rustic look on the side panels and heel.

Jordan breaks up the olive colorway with a black tongue and laces, a cream midsole, and a gum brown outsole. The Jordan 40 has already undergone a few classic retro remixes, including a Cement 3-theme, an OG 1 colorway, and a recent Bordeaux pair. In addition to the early number influence, the Jordan 40 has been featured in exclusives for the EYBL, Chris Paul camp, and a Marquette PE pack.
The Jordon 40 Heritage will be released October 16, 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail pricing is set at $205. For all the latest Jordan news and release dates, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
