Since launching in June, the New Balance ABZORB 2000 has become one of the brand’s hottest silhouettes. The debut Baby Blue colorway sold out instantly, and so too did the Black Grey and White Grey Blue colorways that launched last week. There are plenty of new options on the horizon for the sneaker, including a new Rose Sugar rendition. Also slated for a release in the coming months is a clean Concrete colorway.
Featuring a similar gradient mesh base to the Rose Sugar colorway, this Concrete pair uses a deep purple hue on the bottom of its mesh base that transitions into a light purple, almost cream hue as you move up toward the top. Concrete grey shades grace the screenprinted overlays along the mudguard, midfoot, and collar, with each panel containing Y2K techy graphics in black and metallic grey.

Branding on the midfoot opts for a dark black finish, outline in white and grey, while the tongue tag and heel feature a dark grey NB logo. Pale purple hues help finish the upper via the lace set and tongue. Down below sits the most important part of the ABZORB 2000, the stacked midsole. Here, we see five ABZORB SBS pods run the entire length of the sneaker, sandwiched between light grey and dark grey foam.
The New Balance ABZORB 2000 Concrete will release sometime in 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
