Nike Air Max 97 Release Dates
Christian Tresser was the leading designer in 1997 for Nike’s annual Air Max silhouette, the Air Max ‘97. Tresser’s Air Max ‘97 was groundbreaking— the Air Max model featured the first ever full-length visible Air unit. The silhouette’s upper was inspired by water dripping in a pond causing ripples. Tresser was interested in the aluminum and titanium finishes of 90’s mountain bikes and incorporated bits and pieces into the “Silver Bullet” Air Max ‘97.
