Paris Fashion Label Sézane Launches New Balance Partnership with Earth Tone 471

These days, it feels like if a fashion brand has been thriving for long enough, a partnership with a sneaker brand is almost a rite of passage. The latest clothing label joining the inevitable expansion into footwear collaboration is Sézane, a Paris-based clothier that bills itself as “The first French fashion brand born online.”

In its first collaboration with New Balance, Sézane is teaming up with the Boston-based sportswear brand for a pair of 471s in shades of Autumnal brown accented by hits of denim. Crafted with elevated material, the 471 starts with a rich brown suede on the triple-u toe and heel panels, with a lighter brown suede on the lace panel, and a large dark blue denim “N” logo on the side panels. The rest of the upper is finished with cream colored woven mesh and an orange suede heel counter. The midsole is a two-tone mix of cream on top and navy blue beneath, with a black outsole underneath it all.
