Anthony Edwards and adidas shocked the entire sneaker world with the launch of the adidas AE 1. The performance basketball sneaker quickly transcended the hoops world and became a fashion staple amongst sneakerheads, garnering organic praise and topping many year-end lists in the process. While the follow-up, the adidas AE 2, has taken some time to get to us, we don’t have much longer to wait, as the debut takes place in October. Quickly after the With Love colorway hit shelves, adidas has plans to drop a Blue Fusion colorway.
The Minnesota Timberwolves-friendly color scheme comes in a combination of blue fusion, black, white, and lime burst, placing the titular hue on the textured mesh along the midfoot. Reinforcements arrive in the form of TPU fangs riding along the profile of the toe and heel, the front two containing louvres that showcase the lime burst present on the toe.

Moving up from here, we see a black collar, tongue, lace set, and internal neoprene bootie, all contrasted by lime burst hits on the Anthony Edwards and adidas logos on the tongue and heel, respectively. Down below sits a Lightstrike and Lightboost-cushioned foam midsole, a propulsion plate embedded inside, and a multi-direction rubber herringbone traction pattern on the outsole.
The adidas AE 2 Blue Fusion will release October 25, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s, GS, and PS sizing, the retail price is set at $130, $100, and $80, respectively.
