While Jordan Brand focuses heavily on the 40th Anniversary of the Jordan 1, which sparked the beginning of the multi-billion dollar empire, 2025 is also the 30th birthday of another iconic silhouette in the lineup — the Air Jordan 5. Outside of OG renditions, like the Black Metallic Reimagined, Grape, and Fire Red Black Tongue, new takes on the sneaker are expected to hit shelves throughout the year. Alongside Awake NY’s two-pack of AJ 5s, the Jordan 5 will get a new inline Medium Soft Pink colorway.
The sneaker takes on a primarily white color palette across its leather and TPU upper. Pops of medium soft pink find a home on the Jumpman logo, sockliner, and lace lock, while the tongue features a metallic silver 3M finish. A hidden 3M finish is applied to the entire upper, though the tongue still shines the brightest
