Nike continues to turn up for its football program, releasing a constant stream of classic retros in cleat form for college and NFL PEs and general releases for Pop Warner and high school players alike. This includes Jordans, Kobes, and Foamposites, all sneakers you’d generally see off the gridiron. The latest gridiron-ready Nikes bring out one of the Swoosh’s most iconic combos, a black and yellow Dunk.
The Nike Alpha Menace Dunk SE Iowa is a perfect representation of the Dunk in cleat form, putting premium yellow leather on the Swoosh plus the toe, lace, and heel support panels, with plush black leather covering the toebox, side panels, and heel. For peak on-field performance, the Alpha Menace construction takes over in the support, with an ankle-high black bootie to cradle the foot. The spikes underfoot get a two-tone split between white and yellow with a small black Swoosh on a yellow lateral side cleat.
