For many sneakerheads, it’s a dream to get to a level where you’re gifted friends & family exclusive shoes, and if they can’t get on the seeding list, plenty of people are willing to pay top dollar for the hard-to-obtain colorways.
At the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Nike SB gifted team members a F&F colorway of the SB Dunk Safari, taking the 2020 atmos version of the Safari SB Dunk and adding a black side panel at the same time that the white and blue Olympic Safari colorway hit skate shop shelves. Draped in a OG Nike Air Safari mix of grey, orange, and black, with safari print on the grey toe and heel panels, the F&F pair was recently loaded with official images, suggesting we might get a wide release in the near future.

In addition to the safari toe and heel, and black side panel, the toebox is covered in soft orange suede. Nike has used the pattern on a handful of shoes in the past, including retros of the original Air Safari, the two previous release Dunk SBs, a recent Book 1, and a Nike SB PS8.
Because it was a friends & family exclusive, Nike never released a full image suite of the shoe, but with official pictures of the shoe hitting the internet today, we’re already excited at the prospect of a wide release, even without any concrete info.
