Saquon Barkley Shows Off Exclusive New Gold LeBron 4 Cleats

Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back Saquon Barkley is starting his 8th season in the NFL this week, but after all those years going to war for the New York Giants, it was one single play from last year with the Eagles that will define his legacy: the hurdle. When he was spinning out of the flat, turning downfield and hurdling backwards over a defender for a few extra yards last November, Barkley was wearing a silver pair of Nike LeBron 4 cleats. With the Eagles kicking off the 2025-26 season tomorrow, it’s only right that Nike hooked Barkley up with a solid gold version.
Barkley previewed the player-exclusive pair on Instagram this week, showing off an all black box with his SB lightning bolt logo in gold on the top. Under the protective plastic plastered with his custom SB logo, the all-gold LeBron 4 cleat shines like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction. With gold everywhere and black accents on the lateral heel Swoosh and inner bootie, the custom spikes will be impossible to miss when Saquon takes the field against Dallas.
LeBron’s sneaker legacy has extended far past the hardwood, and when he saw Barkley’s highlight clip in the retro 4 cleats, he definitely took notice. In a clip from his appearance on the Pat McAfee show, LeBron couldn’t contain his excitement to have a small part of the iconic moment.
“When Saquon did that move where he like turned backwards and did a pirouette backwards and jumped up in the air…he had my kicks on,” LeBron said. “And I was like, oh my goodness!”
You definitely won’t be able to buy this pair, but you can tune in tomorrow night to watch Saquon and the Eagles begin their title defense at home against the Cowboys and see them light up the screen.
