Nike has big plans for the Nike Kobe line regarding off-the-court wear. No, we’re not talking about the baseball collection that will be released alongside the Kobe 6 Protro Dodgers, but lifestyle footwear like the Kawa Slide, Offcourt Slide, and even multiple new iterations of a Kobe Air Force 1. On top of the Lenticular Protro iteration, four new standard ‘AF1 '07s are launching, including this Purple rendition.
Joining the White, Black, and Cargo Khaki colorways, this Purple pair also opts for the ‘07 version of the AF1 and updates this with construction and builds closer to the OG AF1 from 1982. Coating each panel is a purple faux snakeskin, while other standard AF1 details, like the lace dubrae, tongue tag, and heel tab, receive Kobe-inspired makeovers.

The phrase "Mamba Forever" is split between the right and left lace dubraes, while the Kobe sheath logo is applied to the tongue tag and the lateral heel. Back on the heel, Kobe's two jersey numbers, 8 and 24< are split between the left and right pairs. Finishing the design is the standard Air Force 1 Low midsole and outsole in purple.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Kobe Forever Purple will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
