October is already here, bringing with it pumpkin pie, hoodie season, and boot weather. With lower temps sending us all back to the closet for warmer footwear, Edison Chen and CLOT are one step ahead, reworking the classic adidas Pro Model basketball shoe into an all-weather boot.
The CLOT x adidas Pro Model mixes duck boot aesthetics with work boot style. Starting with shiny accents on the shell toe at the front, the monochrome mineral blue colorway extends across the rest of the leather upper, with perforations added for breathability between the Three Stripes and at the heel panel. The blue is broken up by cream suede on the ankle collar, and a matching cream midsole with a jagged-bottom outsole just like CLOT’s Superstar renditions.

Since staking out a partnership with adidas, Chen’s CLOT brand has taken on as many classic silhouettes as possible, adding personalized touches, premium materials, and bold colorways to models like the Superstar, AE 1, Samba, and Stan Smith. Most have leaned into an old-school classic European footwear design language, but it appears this new Pro Model takes after utilitarian boots. CLOT also has a second colorway of the boot coming in Dark Brown.
