CLOT is adding an Espadrille Sole to Two Classic adidas Silhouettes
Quick Facts
- Edison Chen's CLOT adds espadrille soles to the Samba and Stan Smith
- Both pairs remain relatively untouched outside of the sole units
- The CLOT x adidas Espadrille Pack will be released Holiday 2025.

Summer’s heat is gone, but Edison Chen and CLOT are keeping the sock-free vibes going with a rope-soled espadrille remix on two iconic adidas silhouettes. Taking inspiration from the Spanish slip-on style, Chen and the CLOT team added a rope sole to a Stan Smith and a Samba.
The CLOT x adidas Espadrille Pack breaks the classic shoes down to their simplest form. The Stan Smith starts with simple cream leather across the entire shoe, perforated Three Stripe logos, a tan rope sole with visible stitching keeping it attached to the upper, and a beaded heel panel in green, white, and red with the CLOT logo in the middle.

Edison’s take on the Samba keeps the same simplicity-focused design. It almost appears like your standard Samba OG, mixing white leather on the upper with black Three Stripes and grey suede on the T-toe. However, the heel counter gets an added suede panel with CLOT’s logo. Other added details include the Three Stripes embroidered on the vamp, a gold outlined Three Stripes logo on the tongue, and CLOT branding on the insole. Finishing the design is the same tan rope espadrille sole as the Stan Smith.
Since joining the adidas family, Chen and CLOT have brought plenty of heat, including an initial espadrille pack earlier this year, a series of jagged-soled Superstars, and a couple of fire AE1 PEs.
The CLOT x adidas Espadrille Pack will be released Holiday 2025 through adidas, Juice Store, and select retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail prices are still TBD.
