The CLOT x BAPE Collection Releases July 2025

In 2023, Edison Chen’s CLOT moved away from its long-standing partnership with Nike to work with rival adidas. Since then, we’ve seen the duo launch an array of sneakers that fuse Chen’s newfound love of classic European dresswear with The Three Stripes’ sportswear silhouettes. However, the duo’s work doesn’t seem to interfere with CLOT teaming up with Japanese streetwear legends A Bathing Ape. Following up on the duo’s last project, which released on January 3rd of this year, BAPE and CLOT are launching more apparel and sneakers this July.
Last time, the two worked on the SHARK STA, a mesh runner silhouette, but for the latest link-up, BAPE has allowed CLOT to tackle the BAPE STA silhouette. Although it has undergone some minor tweaks due to the Nike lawsuit, the BAPE STA retains the same general shape and vibe. CLOT preps one pair in a digital camo (green) and another in trial camo (black/grey), both integrating CLOT’s ALIENEGRA thorn motif.
White accents land on the BAPE star logo on the midfoot, the lace set, tongue tag, and the emblem applied to the lateral heel, the latter splitting CLOT and BAPE’s logos between the left and right shoe. More split branding is found on the lace dubrae, continuing with the brands’ emblems, and on the tongue, displaying CLOT STA and BAPE STA on the left and right shoe, respectively. Dow below sits a white rubber midsole and outsole.
Alongside the two sneakers, CLOT and BAPE have prepped two T-shirts and two hats. Both clothing items are in colors to match the sneakers, one opting for the green digital camo and the other for the black/grey trial camo.
The CLOT x BAPE Collection will release July 26, 2025, through BAPE and Juice Store online and in-store. The CLOT STA shirt will be available exclusively via Juice Store.
