The online reaction to Ja Morant’s third signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Ja 3, has been immensely positive, especially considering the discussion around Nike Basketball sneakers has revolved around how they’ve become stale. Nike and Morant officially debuted the model in its Max Volume colorway during the NBA Playoffs, but during the brand’s recent Nike SNKRS Showcase, they gave us looks at three upcoming renditions, all part of the Graffiti Pack. On top of the EYBL and NYvsNY colorways, images of the final pair in the pack, Light Show, have just emerged online.
The two-tone upper consists of a light grey engineered mesh base and darker grey slash marks that are formed by raised TPU “JA” logos. These nods to Ja’s name are not only found via the textured reinforcements, but also via the midfoot Swoosh and spray-painted “A,” which was inspired by Ja Morant himself adding his name to early samples of the Ja 3 on a trip to Nike HQ. Here, the “A” logo is done in orange and purple, while the vertical Swoosh comes in blue and pink.
Branding details continue onto the medial side with a solid blue Swoosh and onto the tongue, which features Ja’s “TMT” signature and his Ja logo in a light blue shade. Finishing the sneaker is the “Twelve” embroidered into the heel in blue, a grey rubber midsole with ZoomX cushioning, and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Ja 3 Light Show will release Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
