3D printing became a major trend in the mid-2010s, though the tech at the time was more of a proof of concept rather than something that could be integrated into the regular release calendar. A decade later, brands have found their footing in the 3D printing world, especially at adidas, which has been a pioneer on this front. While the world was introduced to the 3D-printed Climacool model late last year, and has been treated to perpetual restocks over the last few months, The Three Stripes is merging traditional footwear motifs with the futuristic model.
The lattice structure and 3D-printed construction remain here on this version of the Climacool, though your eye is immediately drawn to the tongue area. Here, unlike the OG version, we see a neoprene tongue and lacing setup in black. Outside of this, and the added eyelets, the rest of the model remains unchanged, as seen with the Three Stripes logo on the midfoot, the Climacool-branded footbed, and the outsole, which features portions that see through to the inside of the sneaker.
The adidas Climacool Laced Off White will release on July 15, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
