Jordan Brand has long been a champion of the youth, helping young people across the globe in sports and education through initiatives like the Jordan Wings Program. Thanks to the program, hundreds of students can access higher education through financial aid and guidance. In honor of the program's 10th anniversary, Jordan Brand is crafting a special edition of the Air Jordan 5.
This isn’t the first time the Jordan Wings Program has been given its own Jordan retro release, as over the last decade, there have been plenty of different designs, some even created with the help of students in the program. Previous pairs include the Jordan 3, Jordan 4, Jordan 10, Jordan 12, Jordan 1 Mid, and even an Air Jordan 5. Unlike the original Jordan 5 Wings, which launched in 2018, this women’s exclusive version features a metallic silver color palette accented by hits of black.

Most of the satin paneling comes in metallic silver, while the plastic netting on the midfoot and tongue takes on a light silver shade. Added branding details for the Jordan Wings Program are found on the heel, which features a Jumpman logo and Wings text, and on the toebox, which splits the phrase “In this family, no one flies alone” between the right and left shoe.
Nods to the 10th Anniversary of the Jordan Wings Program come in the form of an added metallic silver hang tag and “10” embroidered on the lateral heel where you’d typically find “23.” Underfoot sits a black and metallic silver midsole and a semi-translucent outsole with a handprint graphic.
The Air Jordan 5 Wings W will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $210.
