After squashing the beef in 2023, Nike and Deion Sanders have returned with plenty of releases across the Air DT Max 96 and Diamond Turf silhouettes. While we know that the Diamond Turf 2 is returning in Spring 2026 and the original Diamond Turf Emerald colorway is launching this August, images of a new Air DT Proto 92 colorway in Black have emerged.
While technically not a signature sneaker worn by Deion Sanders, the DT Proto 92 takes inspiration from a prototype sample made for Primetime before the final design of the Diamond Turf silhouette we know today. The first colorway launched in May, with Deion Sanders Jr. recently sharing images of his own PE version of the model. As for this brand-new variant, it opts for a black-based color scheme.

The nubuck upper is primarily coated in black, while white accents appear on the updated midfoot panel’s Swoosh logo and the Nike text on the lockdown strap. Primetime branding on the tongue is rendered in red, black, and white, matching the red sockliner nearby. Final details include a golden mesh hit on the midfoot, gold Nike Air text on the heel tab, and a black foam midsole and rubber outsole.
The Nike Air DT Proto 92 Black will release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $155.
