As a part of LeBron James’ inner circle and the agent for many of the NBA’s top talent, Rich Paul has for decades been a force behind the scenes, however, he has recently had a bigger public presence in the fashion world thanks to his hit collaboration with New Balance on the 550 silhouette. Since then, it seems the two have been in talks as Paul recently announced a new joint venture between himself and New Balance to create a new sportswear label - Klutch Athletics.
“I’m thrilled to create Klutch Athletics to focus on supporting athletes and the communities in which they live and play. There’s a gap right now that we can fill – creating training product that is functional, but with style,” said Paul in a press release regarding the launch of this new co-authored label with NB. His vision for a functional collection of products that are also stylish is achieved through a greyscale color palette that mixes in green hits to connect athletes with the fields they play on. Klutch Athletics collection will cover all ranges of sports, genders, and age groups and include shirts, hoodies, as well as other training apparel.
The first Klutch Athletics collection will launch on April 27th, 2023 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Prices for the apparel will range between $40 and $120 depending on the clothing item.
