With 2025 celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, thus marking 40 years since the legendary sneaker line, Jordan Brand has returned OGs and fan favorites. Kicking off the year for Jordan Retros was the Air Jordan 3 Retro Black Cat, an all-black version of the model originally released back in 2007, but there are plans for more AJ 3s from the late 2000s. The Air Jordan 3 Retro Pure Money is joining the lineup, which was initially released a month before the Black Cat AJ 3 in 2007.
Inverting the look of the Black Cat, the Pure Money colorway opts for a primarily white look accented by hits of metallic silver and grey. The smooth, tumbled, and perforated leather on the upper comes in a single white hue, appearing on the mudguard, base layer, eyestay, and collar, respectively. Contrasting this are grey and metallic silver hits on the eyelets and the Jumpman logo on the tongue.
