Caitlin Clark has just returned from a four-game absence after injuring her left quad, and in her first game back, the Indiana Fever star proved why she was sorely missed. She put on a dominant display, dropping 32 points, dishing out nine assists, and grabbing eight rebounds, all in her special Nike Kobe 6 Protro Bella PE inspired by her golden retriever. The day after this return, official images of Clark’s Indiana Fever Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE emerged.
First worn by Clark during her rookie campaign in 2024, the Nike Kobe 5 Protro Indiana Fever features her WNBA team’s color scheme of navy, orange, red, and yellow. Most of the synthetic fused upper is done in a midnight navy hue, with faux reptile skin debossed on the eyestays and the edge of the toebox. Splatter paint in a slightly different navy shade is plastered across the synthetic portions of the upper.

Mesh panels on the collar, heel tab, and sockliner are all done in the same navy as the rest of the upper. Orange and red details are found on the tongue and lace set, the latter coming in bright crimson and the former done in a gradient orange to bright crimson. More gradient is found on the TPU heel counter and the outline of the Nike Swoosh on the midfoot. Finishing the design is the midnight navy foam midsole and rubber outsole.
Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro Indiana Fever PE will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and possibly via select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $190. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
