Legendary comedian Dave Chappelle needed some fresh Nike Air Force 1's for his upcoming Netflix special. He tasked David Coltrane, the founder of the Team Epiphany marketing agency, with getting him a custom pair of white Nike Air Force 1 Low Gums with his signature "C" logo. Getting a custom pair of Nikes is no small feat, but to up the ante, Chapelle needed them in a week. With the help of God's Favorite DJ, Clark Kent, Coltrane was able to make it happen.
Chapelle's Nike Air Force 1 Low starts with a crisp white leather. Moving on down, the sneaker's matching white midsole is paired with a traditional brown gum outsole or as Chapelle calls them "gummies." The iconic green and red "C" logo is printed on the outer heel of each sneaker.
Unfortunately, the Dave Chapelle Nike Air Force 1 Low was made exclusively for Dave. There will be no public release. In fact, there were only 5 pairs of Chapelle Air Force 1 Low Gums made and every pair is a size 12.
