Lil Yachty Wears His Black and Purple Nike Air Force 1 Collaboration at Summer Smash 2025

Nike finally gave Lil Yachty his collaboration with the brand in 2023 with a friends-and-family colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low themed after his Concrete Boys label. Around a year later, that pair was released to the public, with multiple other versions of the US Force 1 previewed by Yachty. After launching his patent leather multi-color iteration of the AF1, Lil Boat took the stage at Summer Smash, rocking a Black Purple colorway he originally previewed ahead of Coachella 2024.

The colorway keeps things simple, even compared to his original white and navy release, which was criticized for its simplicity. Here, a primarily black leather upper is contrasted by hits of purple on select details of the sneaker. The first hit of purple is found on the tongue with the “It’s Us” branding, with more of this hue located on the 3D embroidered Concrete Boys logo on the lateral heel.

Inside, the sockliner is rendered in the contrasting purple shade, while the heel tab, though not visible in these photos, also comes with this hue. The pair has a black midsole and a purple rubber outsole, completing the look.

Lil Yachty’s new Nike US Force 1 Black Purple has no confirmed release information at this time, though it wouldn’t be a surprise if Yachty and Nike decide to release this pair later.
