Sneakers have long been used to commemorate cities across the globe, most notably by adidas through the City Series. These terrace-style trainers are often quite limited and are reserved for specialty stores, but The Three Stripes is rethinking how it approaches the City Series with a new set of adidas Superstars launching in 2025. Joining the Berlin Superstar is a pair for London, England.
Drawing inspiration from the punk movement in the ‘70s, this Superstar features motifs from that era. A black rubber toecap matches the leather details on the eyelets and the Three Stripes, while most silhouettes are rendered in red suede. Superstar branding remains on the midfoot, though the tongue tag swaps out adidas text for a nod to London.

More London markings are found on the tartan-covered hang tag, featuring adidas’ Trefoil logo, London text, and Superstar text in a golden hue. Final details on the upper include Trefoil and London branding on the heel, a tartan sockliner and insole, and a black lace set. Below sits a black rubber midsole and outsole.
The adidas Superstar London will release in October 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
