Minecraft and adidas Have Five New Shoes Coming June 2025

A Minecraft Movie took the internet and world by storm, becoming one of the most viral and meme’d movies in recent memory, generating nearly $1 billion at the box office. Ahead of the movie’s release, Microsoft ensured that fans had opportunities to rep the franchise, teaming up with adidas to drop two different sneakers and a whole collection of apparel back in April. Following this will be a five-sneaker drop of Minecraft x adidas shoes, coinciding with the non-theatrical release.

Tackling the Samba XLG, Superstar, Adifom Adilette, Handball Spezial, and Campus 00s, Minecraft and adidas bring to life the most common mobs you’d encounter at night on survival mode — Creepers, skeletons, zombies, spiders, and endermen — all spread across the lineup. The Samba XLG takes on a brown suede finish with a spider face lace dubrae and a spider eye stamped onto the lace loop, obvious nods to the mob.

On the other hand, the Superstar brings the skeleton to life, applying a white and grey color palette to the leather and rubber shoe. Pixelated Three Stripes on the midfoot and Minecraft text on the lateral (features found on most of the collection) pair with the transparent shell toe displaying black and grey pixels. A skeleton lace dubrae, a skeleton face on the left heel tab, and bones on the tongue create this homage. The Campus 00s also leans into its respective mob, the Creeper, by coming in a green finish, featuring nods to the animal and other Minecraft motifs.

Finally, the collection is completed by the Handball Spezial Enderman and the Adifom Adilette Zombie. The Enderman pair is doused in black and purple hues with nods to the tall, stick-like creature that inhabits The End. The Zombie Adilette translates the creature's blue and green appearance onto the foam-based slide. Fire graphics, and even a zombie on fire, nod to the game's mechanics, where, in the daytime, creatures like zombies will burn until killed.

The Minecraft x adidas Summer Collection GS will release in June 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in kids’ sizing, the retail price ranges between $50 and $95.
