Lifetime Nike athlete LeBron James officially introduced the world to his 23rd signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 23, in September 2025. The silhouette takes direct inspiration from LeBron’s crown logo, helping inform the all-new Crown Containment System overlay on the upper. Nike also looks to 23 different moments from his illustrious 23-year-long NBA career for inspiration for the colorways on the sneaker. The sneaker retails for $210 in men’s sizing and $160 in GS sizing.
The Nike LeBron 23 may be the last signature sneaker from LeBron James while he’s an active NBA player, and to commemorate a monumental 23 years in the league, Nike went all out for his 23rd signature sneaker. Nike Senior Director of Men’s Basketball Footwear Product Design Ross Klein worked on the silhouette.
Introduced with the latest Nike LeBron is the Crown Containment System, which integrates LeBron’s King James crown logo onto the upper. The logo acts as a reinforcement for the engineered mesh base, and it can be covered in a variety of materials. Nike has plans to launch 23 different colorways of the Nike LeBron 23, each telling a story from LeBron’s 23 year career. Moments include Sports Illustrated labeling LeBron as the “Chosen One,” his $90 million endorsement deal with Nike, being drafted number one overall in the 2003 NBA Draft, an iconic photo of LeBron and D-Wade, his 40,000+ career points, and becoming the flag bearer for Team USA at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
