Devin Booker’s signature model with Nike, the Nike Book 1, has been a canvas for honoring past models and their iconic colorways. We’ve seen this with pairs like the Forrest Gump Cortez and ACG Mowabb-inspired color schemes, but more homages are on the horizon. Debuted by Booker in December 2023, the Book 1 Air Max 95 Neon will be getting a public release in Fall 2025.
If you’re unaware, 2025 marks the 30th birthday of the Air Max 95, meaning Nike has been going all in on celebrating Sergio Lozano’s design. We’ve been treated to retros of classic colors, like the Neon, but homages from other sneaker models have also filled the release calendar. This will now include the Book 1, with the grey, black, white, and neon green color palette of the OG AM 95 translated onto the performance basketball model.
This is done by applying black suede on the mudguard, light grey on the toebox, eyestays, collar, canvas twill midfoot, and volt on the Swoosh. More volt green is found on the “96” text on the book spine-inspired pull tab and the Book text along the tongue. Below sits a black rubber midsole and a semi-translucent neon rubber outsole.
The Nike Book 1 Air Max 95 Neon will release on September 5, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $145.
