While the Foamposite One went through a shaky few years, the last few seasons have renewed interest in the model. Classics like the OG Royal and fan-favorite Galaxy have returned, but there are still a few more colorways planned before the year ends. This includes the upcoming Cough Drop retro and… another Royal Foamposite?
The original colorway for the Nike Foamposite, and the one featured in the iconic 1-800 phone number advert from the ‘90s, came in a mixture of royal blue and black, with the last retro taking place last September. A year later, Nike is launching a strikingly similar pair with the Deep Royal rendition. Here, we see the Foamposite material coated in this dark royal blue hue, while the shade also finds a home on portions of the pull tabs and the mini Swoosh embroidered near the toe.

Solid black hues take over the mesh tongue, lace set, nubuck eyelets, collar, and mesh sockliner, allowing the deep royal blue hue to shine through. Below sits a faux carbon fiber midfoot shank, a clear translucent rubber, and black and royal blue hits on the outsole.
The Nike Air Foamposite One Deep Royal will release on September 12, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $240 (men), $180 (GS), $100 (PS), and $75 (TD).
