Bad Bunny is about halfway through his Puerto Rico residency and the shows have looked insane. Not only has he brought a massive economic surge to his homeland but he has also given plenty of first-looks at unreleased adidas sneakers thanks to The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo. La Historia de Una Collab. On top of the dozens of prototypes and samples that, unfortunately, won’t be available to the public, Benito and adidas teased us with a three-way project between the superstar and Formula One’s Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS on the Adiracer GT.
The Three Stripes first launched the Adiracer GT back in the 2000s as part of a collaboration with Goodyear (yes, the tire company) for performance racers. The model didn’t reach the heights of the Puma Speedcat, and it eventually faded into obscurity until it was revived earlier this year. Mercedes did help relaunch the sneaker, but GR colorways of a lifestyle version have been released. Bad Bunny is also set to collaborate on the model for his very own colorway.
