After dropping DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS to critical and commercial acclaim, Bad Bunny has begun a highly anticipated residency in Puerto Rico. Benito’s love for PR runs deep through his music, and more recently, it’s been shown through his adidas collaborations. Following up on the release of the Gazelle City Series honoring PR, Bad Bunny teased us with his next adidas project after being named an honorary member of F1’s Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS.
On Benito’s feet during his visit to the Mercedes garage, where the team was putting the finishing touches on the first-ever F1 vehicle to go to PR and the first F1 car to race on Puerto Rican soil, was his upcoming Adiracer GT collab. Back in the early 2000s, adidas created the model for motorsport racing in collaboration with Goodyear, and thanks to their recent partnership with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, they’ve revived the sneaker. As with most Bad Bunny collaborations, the reggaeton superstar reimagines the model through his own distinctive lens.

Swapping out the heavy technical features of the upper for more lifestyle-oriented materials, Bad Bunny opts for a quilted suede finish in tan. Contrasting brown suede hits the toebox overlays and heel, while pops of red and burgundy are found on the Three Stripes and tongue, respectively. Pink laces continue the contrasting shades. Final details include the “adidas para bad bunny” text on the heel tab, a tonal thin foam midsole, and a gum rubber outsole.

The reveal was part of a larger activation last weekend in Puerto Rico. Bad Bunny partnered with adidas for multiple events, including a pop-up exhibit from Mercedes-Benz, an intimate dinner for Puerto Rican natives, and, most notably, The Archive: Puerto Rico Para El Mundo. La Historia de Una Collab. This was the first time the Bad Bunny Archives at adidas have been on display to the public, revealing over 150 different samples, releases, and prototypes.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Adiracer GT will release October 2025 through adidas, Bad Bunny’s website, and select retailers online and in-store. As of now, retail pricing has not been confirmed.
