Like it or not, the adidas Fear of God partnership is here to stay (at least until the end of 2025), and Jerry Lorenzo’s high-fashion take on hoops shoes is filling out the catalog with new colorways for the end-of-year season. The latest Basketball II in the FOG Athletics line is a purple remix of the streamlined silhouette.
The adidas Fear of God Athletics Basketball II Wonder Oxide keeps the monochromatic color palette that’s carried the first few colorways of the shoe. It starts with a translucent midsole, something that’s been on every colorway so far, except Gabe Vincent’s lemonade colorway. On the upper, the shoe gets a muted mauve purple with a subtle shift to a lighter purple on the side panel mesh.

Lorenzo released the Fear of God Athletics Basketball II in December 2024, and since then, the shoe has become a staple in the adidas basketball lineup, with a series of monochrome uppersin muted earth tones. In addition to the yellow colorway that Vincent broke out early, FOG designed a Derrick Rose colorway of the shoe, but in general, hype has been pretty subdued for Lorenzo’s latest collection.
