Although Zion Williamson’s career hasn’t panned out the way many, including Jordan Brand, would have hoped, he is still a major star in the eyes of the public and NBA fans. Regarding the footwear world, he has released four different signature models with Jordan Brand and even had his version of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG hit shelves in 2022. Alongside the pair that the public had a shot at copping, Jordan crafted a PE colorway in purple that is now set to hit shelves during the Holiday 2025 season.
Like labelmate Rui Hachimura, who had his Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG PE hit retail shelves, this pair for Zion will come identical to the player-exclusive rendition he was gifted in 2023. The upper features the hemp and canvas construction found on the original, opting for a much darker color palette consisting of purples, dark blues, black, and light silver. Details found on the original are also on this colorway, including the reverse mini Swoosh on the toe, the “DIY” overstitching on the lower eyelet and Swoosh, and the flipped Nike Air branding on the tongue.
