Nike’s SNKRS Showcase unveiled an array of performance and retro basketball products, spanning across its Greater Than series, like the GT Future and GT Cut 3, and bring-backs like Foamposite One and Foamposite Pro colorways. Included in the showcase was a segment dedicated to Ja Morant’s upcoming Nike Ja 3, which gave us a first look at the forthcoming NYvsNY colorway.
Unlike the Max Volume colorway, this pair opts for a graffiti graphic on the midfoot, which places it within a three-pack of Ja 3 colorways, all made to honor his upcoming world tour. The EYBL rendition utilized a light color palette, while this NYvsNY variant, honoring Nike’s streetball tournament, features a primarily black hue on its upper.

These black hits envelop the mesh base, sockliner, and the textured scratch designs across the upper, comprising mini Ja logos. Ja’s name is also spelled out on the midfoot via the Swoosh and the graffiti A design, the latter inspired by Morant’s visit to Nike HQ, where he spraypainted pairs of the Nike Ja 3. The black rubber midsole finishes the sneaker with ZoomX foam and a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Ja 3 NY vs NY will release on July 22, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $135.
