Amidst a Nike SB catalog full of Blazers, Dunks, Air Maxes, and more silhouettes dedicated to retooling classic shoes into skateable models, Nyjah Huston’s signature series has long been a futuristic amalgamation of Beaverton’s most advanced technology. Some skaters are concerned with style and skating, but Nyjah is only worried about performance.
The fourth shoe in Huston’s signature line, the Nyjah 4, is a fortified tank made to withstand endless griptape scraping without bulking up the shape. The latest colorway adopts a monochrome approach in a winter-ready college grey, featuring a reinforced mesh upper. The toecap and high-abrasion skate zones are covered with a translucent, ultra-durable HART rubber built to outlast any battle to land a new trick. The opaque cupsole has a Zoom Air unit in the heel to absorb impact and a TPU heel counter for added stability.
Nike SB Nyjah 4 College Grey
Originally launched in July with a purple and white colorway, the Nyjah 4 is now just one of two active signature series sneakers at Nike SB, alongside Ishod Wair’s second pro model. SB keeps a few legacy pro models on deck, like Janoskis and the new P-Rod retros, plus skater-specific classics like Grant Taylor’s Blazer lows, but when it comes to numbered signature shoes with more on the way, Nyjah and Ishod are the entire list. As the Dunk hype continues to subside, it will be interesting to see if SB returns to a more pro-focused approach to new models moving forward.
The Nike SB Nyjah 4 College Grey will be released Holiday 2025 through Nike and select Nike SB retailers in-store and online. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115. To keep up with everything Nike SB, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
