Earlier in the year, Nike SB team rider and legendary skater Paul Rodriguez brought back his original Nike SB signature sneaker in the OG colorway to commemorate the model’s 20th birthday. Of course, with the significance of P-Rod to Nike SB, this wouldn’t be a one-off release. Next up for Rodriguez’s original Nike SB sneaker is a retro of another original colorway.
Initially released in 2005, when the model first hit shelves, the pair features a clean color palette of black, medium grey, and university red. Even if you are unfamiliar with the pair, the color palette and the PR monogram print might remind you of another Nike SB x P-Rod link-up: the Primitive x Nike SB Dunk Low from 2015. That SB Dunk also featured the same black, grey, and red color palette with a monogram print on the heel.

Going back to the P-Rod 1 retro, the pair is nearly identical to the original ‘05 release, as black suede is featured on the mudguard, vamp, and eyestays, while red perforated suede is present on the Swoosh. Grey suede appears on the toebox and midfoot, while the heel overlay, as mentioned before, comes with a monogram print referencing Paul Rodriguez’s initials. The white rubber midsole finishes the design with Zoom Air cushioning and a black rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Paul Rodriguez Zoom Air Low Bred will release in Fall 2025 through Nike SB-affiliated retailers and Nike online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $115.
