Nike is getting Kobe fans ready for 2026 in a serious way. In addition to the annual Protros and August celebrations for the Black Mamba, The Swoosh is gearing up to hit us over the head with a bunch of Kobe crossover Air Force 1 and Dunk colorways.
The latest leak from next year’s Kobe lifestyle lineup is a Kobe Air Force 1 Cool Grey. Official images of the shoe haven’t been seen yet, but with a colorway listed as cool grey/wolf grey, the color blocking can’t be too crazy. We’ve mocked up an unofficial preview of the grey-on-grey Kobe AF!, with cool grey panels across the upper and wolf grey accents on the Swoosh and heel counter. Keeping things consistent with past Kobe Forces, we added faux snakeskin print to the upper.
This Kobe Air Force 1 is constructed with traditional AF1 tooling, but Nike is also set to release Protro versions of the Dunk and Air Force 1 Low, bringing Kobe’s signature performance retro ethos to the legacy lifestyle models by adding premium materials and extra cushioning. We’ve already seen two Kobe Air Force 1s in Lower Merion High School colors and four more Air Force 1 Protro colorways slated for next year, with a cargo khaki snakeskin Kobe AF1 hitting shelves soon.
The Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Cool Grey is expected to be released in Spring 2026, so we’re hoping for official photos and more release info soon. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
