Nike Honors the Lower Merion Aces with Two Kobe Air Force 1s

Nike has always paid special attention to Kobe’s sneaker line, and in the years since his untimely passing, The Swoosh has gone all-out in remembrance of the Mamba. The latest honorary pairs have been packs of special edition Kobe Air Force 1s, but Sole Retriever can report that a new pack of AF1s launching in 2026 will be dedicated to Kobe’s high school, Lower Merion High.
We haven’t seen any true photos of the shoes yet, but we have seen the colorway combos on paper, so we drew a couple of potential mock-ups to imagine how the pairs might come out. Taking shades straight from the Lower Merion jersey combos, the first pair will come in a White/Team Red combo and the second reversed in Team Red/White.
There isn’t anything else to go off for the Lower Merion Forces, but the pack is also expected to drop alongside a Kobe Dunk pack and a Protro of the Lower Merion Kobe 5. The Lower Merion Forces news comes hot on the heels of more Kobe Air Force news, with leaks of four Kobe-signed Air Force 1 Lows dropping earlier this week in pink and white, blue and gold, black snakeskin and volt, and linen and blue.
The Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Lower Merion pack is expected to be released in Spring 2026, so hopefully we’ll get some official photos soon. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is currently set at $120.
