Vanessa Bryant’s 1 of 2 Swarovski Kobe 3 Protros Have 5,775 Crystals on Them

The Kobe 3 Protro rollout just got a lot more sparkle. A day after the sold-out release of the Nike Kobe Protro 3 Halo, and on the same evening as the reveal of the Kobe 3 Protro Low, Vanessa Bryant popped out at the Mamba League Invitational in Los Angeles this weekend in an ultra-exclusive pair of Halos iced out in over 5,000 crystals.
Coinciding with Kobe’s birthday, the annual Mamba League Invitational is a showcase for top-tier high school hoops talent and a celebration of all things Kobe Bryant. This year, Vanessa celebrated the event with 5,775 individually set Swarovski crystals adorning her 1-of-2 pair of Kobe 3 Protro Halos. The crystals cover the entire toebox and heel counter of the otherwise pristine white shoe, and then extend across the TPU side panel grid.
The Kobe 3 Protro is the first time the Kobe 3 has gotten performance retro treatment. The upgraded silhouette, designed with TPU cages across both side panels to represent a basketball net, has already launched in the aforementioned Halo colorway. However, a Christmas-themed pair is expected to release Holiday 2025, and the model will be converted into a low-top in Spring 2026.

Vanessa’s crystal exclusive pair won’t be making it on the court anytime soon, and we’re not sure who owns the second pair in existence.
