After officially restarting the Nike Kobe line with the release of the Kobe 8 Protro Halo in 2023, there has been a ton of output from Bryant’s signature line. Not only have we received new Protro models, retros of classic colors, and new makeups, but also a venture into the lifestyle realm. This has resulted in Bryant’s Protro mentality being applied to the Air Force 1, which launched earlier this year in collaboration with FC Barcelona and in a light yellow colorway inspired by a photo of Kobe taking free throws in his pajamas. Alongside the Black Lemon Venom and Work Blue colorways dropping in Spring 2026, the Kobe Air Force 1 Low Protro is getting a Sail Pinksicle makeover.
As of this writing, there are no images of the Sail Pinksicle colorway of the Kobe Air Force 1 Low Protro. However, we know the official color scheme features sail and pinksicle, which we’ve applied to this speculative mock-up. Faux snakeskin coats the sail leather paneling on the toe, mudguard, eyestays, midfoot, and heel, while pinksicle is present on the Swoosh, lace set, tongue, sockliner, Kobe sheath logo, and Kobe signature on the midsole.
Inside, the AF1 gets upgraded, pairing the Air unit with a drop-in ReactX foam insole. Alongside this, the upper’s leather will be premium leather and Kobe’s sheath logo will replace the classic stars on the forefoot and heel of the sole unit.
The Nike Kobe Air Force 1 Low Protro Sail Pinksicle will be released in Spring 2026 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
